Peter Lion was inclined towards writing at a very early age. During his maturing years in Connecticut he was seen dabbling in poetry as well as wrote numerous short stories. He set out to create a career of his passion for the words by first getting a degree in Journalism through the Southern Connecticut State University. He printed his first magazine article inside the Hartford Magazine before he graduated with his journalism degree.

Then he moved to Boston and started working with WSBK as a Technical Director. He labored on several projects, his major one being the Boston Red Sox Baseball and Boston Bruins Hockey. His primary show however, remains, College Gameday.
He has been a two time winner in the Emmy awards, although he has been nominated frequently for his contribution while in the television industry. He got his first Emmy for his work in Sports Centre and received his second Emmy for the show NFL countdown.
Besides working, Peter Lion is presently working on his 2nd book. He’s additionally a part of a band that goes by the name of Cheaper than Therapy” and is also its lead singer and guitarist
